My Current Job description consists of many multi faceted tasks all related in one form or another to Business Consulting as well as writing Grant and Loan Proposals for persons interested in a business start up project or a Business expansion project. I have also been successful in obtaining funding resources through both Grant and Loan Proposals for persons hiring my services for personal projects.
Am currently working on the infrastructure and all that is necessary to begin a second company which will be a Non Profit organization focusing on obtaining necessities and implementing change to make this a better world for people to live in particularly for those who have disabling conditions and would still like to be a part of the actively involved work force to contribute to their communities as well as enhance their own lives for themselves and their families. The primary focus of this company will be not only to train and educate the disabled and disadvantaged but also to raise public awareness of the heart breaking conditions in which a majority of this sector of the population is forced to live in because their Social Security Disability Benefits (SSDI) are not enough to pay rent/ mortgage, utilities, food and other living expenses. As a matter of fact for the most part, many have to use makeshift furniture created out of cardboard boxes, or live with other family members because their SSDI income doesn't come close to meeting their needs though they have been actively working all their lives until becoming disabled.
I work with people from all socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. The mission of my company is based on a quote by world reknowned Motivational Speaker and Author, Zig Ziglar who stated in his book, "See You at the Top", The best way to get what you want out of life is to help someone else get what they want."Guill and Associates strives to give the utmost in personal customer satisfaction and service. There is no one that we are not willing to try and help to achieve their goals whether business or personal through the services we offer. Part of the plans in process for the Non Profit Organization is to partner with community agencies to educate, teach and train disabled and disadvantaged people in learning what is necessary to go about starting their own business or learning skills that will take them into the work force not only obtaining a job but also to keep a job. Our goal is to get employers to see persons with disabilities as people with valuable skills which are an asset to their company and look beyond the disabling condition so long as the applicant is fully qualified to perform the duties of the job for which they have applied. The second phase of that is to assist and educate employers about the tax benefits available to them for hiring persons with disabilities or who are receiving public assistance. Doing so would decrease the unemployment rate, decrease the amount of tax dollars spent on taking care of the needs of these individuals because they are more than willing to work and earn what they need to enable them to maintain a normal standard of living rather than barely getting by.
With these things in mind, naming my job description in full detail would entail so many duties that they are too numerous to mention. However, just to name a few, I contact politicians, celebrities, Major Corporate Officers, Community, State and Govbernment officials on behalf of clients as well as the disabled and disadvantaged, I am engaged in training and educating clients and recipients of public assistance, hundreds of hours of research per week along with making E-mail, Phone and Personal appearance contacts with appropriate persons to carry out our goals. I am also responsible for the daily operations, hiring and managing a growing team of personnel, managing Public Relations, and all administrative duties.
