About Me:

Began in the shoe industry as an independent sales rep for Ontario as well as assisted in design by creating all the colour ways. Self taught Photoshop and Illustrator, and then began design. First season designing created our top selling shoe. The next season I spent 2 months in a china factory learning the development process. For 2 years designed, developed as well as sales, maintaining steady growth. 2001 designed, developed and started managing Adult division of KangaROOS brand, ROOS. At this point I was still responsible for the sales of 3 major customers. In 2002 created my own line of Men's fashion footwear called Kru. I shipped 3 seasons with 50% growth each season, on top of my KangaROOS/ROOS responsibility. I wasn't able to finance Kru on my own after the third season due to the rapid growth. At that time I was offered the job of managing Gola for Canada together with my KangaROOS/ROOS responsibilities. At that point my work load was maxed out and I decided to put Kru on hold and focus on Gola, KangaROOS, and ROOS. I continued until this year when I decided to switch all my focus back to my own line and currently working on re-launching Kru men's and women's for Fall 07.
