High School Name: J. F. Kennedy Senior High School - when I attended (1966-69-GASP!) it had just opened and was considered the most innovative public high school in Louisiana, including two huge air-conditioned rooms (no other rooms has A/C) for the students' computer !! Apparently, this school, like the public education system throughout the USA, suffered many problems through the past nearly 4 decades. Some good news: it seems that even after the devestation suffered by my beloved city, especially in the area of JFK High, the school itself is improving and could become again a positive example.
