What I wish to promote:

Positive attitudes in women towards sex and female sexuality. Sex is inextricably connected to power and personal choice. We (those of us at Zohe Films and the many women who have already joined me in taking up this cause) wish to affiliate ourselves with people that support this core belief and support positive attitudes towards female sexuality in areas of artist expression, education, legislation, and community outreach programs. I believe that encouraging women to acknowledge their desire and seek pleasure from sexual contact empowers them to take charge of their own bodies and acknowledge the choice that is made with every sexual encounter. We wish to take the societal stigma of “women as victims� out of sexual acts and turn sex into something to be celebrated. We support positive representations of women in the media, non-exploitive forms of sexual expression, gender-specific programming for girls, comprehensive/pleasure positive sexual education and reproductive rights.
